Service excellence is the cornerstone of what we do at Party Rental Ltd. — our team is fueled by our passion for providing clients with world-class service every day.  We also believe that some of the most important work that we do is giving back to our community, and we’re always looking for ways to channel our energy and passion for service towards helping those who need it most.  This summer, we teamed up with our friends at the Community FoodBank of New Jersey and volunteered over 300 person-hours towards their mission of fighting hunger and poverty in New Jersey.
The Community FoodBank of New Jersey began in 1975 by distributing groceries out of the back of a station wagon.  In 2014, a record 43 million pounds of food was distributed, and 4.7 million times a year a hungry person in need is helped by a Community FoodBank of New Jersey partner charity.  They work with approximately 1,000 agencies running a total of about 1,400 programs, including soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and feeding programs for children and seniors.

This is our third year of volunteering with the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. Â This year, 150Â Party Rental Ltd. employees took part in our summer volunteer program, helping prepare, sort, and pack donated items for distribution and lend a helping hand wherever we could. Â On average, we assembled over 180 boxes of goods per hour!

In addition to our efforts at the Community FoodBank, Party Rental Ltd. works with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in their mission to finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.  We also conduct a Toy Drive during the winter holiday season.  In lieu of a “grab bag,” we ask employees to bring a toy at our holiday party to be donated to a local children’s hospital, which in past has included Hackensack Children’s Hospital and St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Patterson, NJ.
