The Inspiration
With the earliest model dating back to 1930s France, these chairs were created to be durable and versatile with a timeless design. At the time, they were just as commonly found in the neighborhood café as they were in an industrial factory, and today, the iconic design is featured in museums and at kitchen tables around the world.
We wanted a chair that would hold up to the elements and bring a fresh aesthetic to our collection, so voilá! The Market Bistro Chair was born- and since we didn’t want dinner to have all the fun, we’re adding the Market Bistro Bar Stool for cocktail hour, as well.
Because of the warm grey metal tone, classic shape, and rich history, the Market Bistro Chairs and Bar Stools will work with a variety of designs, from vintage & rustic to industrial & modern. (P.S. We can picture many happy couples with different tastes agreeing on this one!)
