Under the visionary leadership of celebrated Head Chef Jean-Claude Nédélec, the company experienced a culinary renaissance after he joined in 1985, earning critical acclaim and a loyal clientele. Chef Nédélec led a team of seasoned professionals behind the culinary philosophy that consistency and dependability were paramount to success. Born and raised in picturesque Brittany, France, Chef Nédélec’s journey into the culinary world began when he enrolled in the prestigious Culinary Institute of France. His unwavering discipline and pursuit of excellence can be traced back to his formative years in the French army. During his military service, he learned the importance of structure, precision, and attention to detail. The strict regimen of the army instilled in him a sense of order and a commitment to achieving perfection, qualities that later laid the foundation for his exceptional career as a world-renowned chef.

At Glorious Food, Chef Nédélec’s culinary creations were nothing short of masterpieces and were frequently featured in the New York Times and other national publications. Inspired by the hues of the Artiste Gold linen, our holiday table setting took on a whimsical vibe. In lieu of traditional floral centerpieces, we opted for a gingerbread house as the centerpiece, which perfectly complemented the overall aesthetic.
