Packing up your rentals after the event

Once the festivities are over, there are a few tips and tricks for packing up your event rentals for pickup. Properly organizing and packing your rented items ensures a smooth and stress-free return process. Using your order paperwork can help you keep track of what needs to be returned.

Designate an Area

Set aside a dedicated area at your event venue where you can gather and sort rental items as the event progresses. This area should be easily accessible for both your team and the Party Rental Ltd. team during pickup.

Packing up Chinaware and Glassware

Be sure to remove excess debris by scraping or rinsing off any of our chinaware, glassware, silverware, trays, bowls, and serving pieces before placing them back in their crates and racks.

All chinaware should be stacked vertically in our pink crates. Do not place more than 12 plates per crate. Avoid overloading containers to prevent damage.

Returning Cooking Equipment

Please be sure to remove any food/pots/pans from cooking equipment prior to pick-up. If you’ve ordered the Big John Grill or Rotisserie, please empty the ashes prior to pick-up.

Important note for Deep Fryers: All oil must be emptied from deep fryers prior to pick-up as we cannot transport cooking oil.

On the day of pickup, you’ll need to have someone available to greet the Transportation team. Be sure to share any notes about damaged rental items and double-check that all items are accounted for.
